This sensory bin is perfect for teaching little ones about cleaning up their environment, without having to worry about what their little hands are touching outside.
We used our Flisat table to set up 2 environments, a forest, and an ocean.

Both environments have animals, and natural elements like shells and trees. Both have been littered with “garbage”. I used crumpled up paper, tin foil, spare bottles, etc as the garbage. I also placed some tongs and some silicone cups to put the garbage in.
After a quick talk about why we don’t want garbage littered around, the kids got to work cleaning up the habitats!
Before no time at all, they had picked up all the garbage and everything was clean once more!

We had a great time with this sensory bin! Cleaning up after ourselves is always a great lesson to teach, not just on Earth Day!
